1. Conduct of Examination

Diploma in Teacher Education Examination is held once a year in the month of June / July for First year and Second year Regular pupil students and also for Private candidates.

3. Award of Certificate

Marks list show both internal assessment marks and external examinations marks separately without totaling them in the above subjects. Internal assessment for papers IX to XII will be shown in grades only in the final marks sheet.

Minimum for a pass is 50% in external examination as well as in internal assessment in respects of papers I to VIII listed and for internal examination of subjects IX to XII will be shown in a separate Grade certificate. This includes passing under the compartmental system also.

Those who fail in the external examination will have to re-appear for the examination in the subsequent year/s in the month of April. Students who fail in the internal assessment will have to appear before the Practical Board of Examiners in the subsequent years.

4. Syllabus:

The Syllabus is as formulated by the D.T.E.R.T., and approved by the Government and currently followed in Teacher Training Institutes for the regular students.
